​The Star Inn is located on Back Hope Street in the historic Cliff Conservation Area  in Salford, Lancashire.

It is easily reached by Public Transport from Manchester, Prestwich and Bury by taking the 98 bus. Click Here to go to the Transport for Greater Manchester website where you can ​check up to date timetable.

If you are arriving from the Manchester direction then get off three stops after Albert Park, at the stop near the junction of Great Clowes Street and Knoll Street.

If you arriving from the Bury direction then alight at the first stop on Great Clowes Street, outside the Landslide Store.

By train
If you arrive at Manchester Victoria Station then you can take the 98 bus which stops outside the main entrance to the station.

If you arrive at Manchester Piccadilly Station then take the Metrolink Tram to Shudehill and take the 98 bus from Shudehill Bus Station.

By Plane
If you arrive at Manchester Airport then take a train to Manchester Piccadilly then take the Metrolink Tram to Shudehill and take the 98 bus from Shudehill Bus Station.
