​​The Star Inn is a traditional urban public house run as a co-operative.
The pub is owned by local people via StarCliff Limited, which is a registered Industrial & Provident Society (Registration Number: 30947R).
Our members are customers and supporters of the pub and each member has one vote. All members have at least 1 share.
An elected Management Group, with 7 members, manages the Co-op on behalf of the shareholders and employs the bar manager and staff to run the pub.
StarCliff was formed with invaluable and continuing support from Co-operatives UK.

Want to buy a share?

If you’re looking for a financial return – look elsewhere! You won’t get big dividends but you will get a certificate and in buying a share you will help ensure the Star Inn stays open for future generations to enjoy. Just £100each, individuals (and groups) can own a maximum of 30 shares.
