From Queen Victoria's reign through to a man called Trump, the Star Inn has lived through interesting times. It has survived global wars, mass unemployment, endless series of I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, even the relegation of Manchester United. Pubs are toppling like dominoes and yet the Star continues to thrive. Co-operatively owned we have a colourful clientele that reflects our broad church ethos but one thing we all have in common is a wish to welcome friends old and new into a proper pub.
